Star Wars Ewok Gospel

Here’s a gospel inspired music video from RunawayBox on Youtube defending the role the ewoks played in the Original Star Wars trilogy.

I also agree that the Ewok get an unfair ride from Star Wars fans who state the only reason for their inclusion in Return of the Jedi was as a marketing ploy. These fans argue that George Lucas was only interested in selling toys and that he sold the film down the river in chase of the dollar.

Personally, as Return of the Jedi was the first film I ever saw in a cinema it has great memories for me and I still love it. Granted that christmas I did ask my parents for some Ewok toys so I suppose as a marketing ploy it worked, but more importantly it’s remembered as a classic piece of cinema.
